The CRVS (Civil Registration and Vital Statistics) system is a new electronic, online platform being implemented to transform Belize's Civil Registry. It will allow you to:

  1. Conveniently register vital life events like births, deaths, marriages, and adoptions from the comfort of your home or office through a secure online portal. It also provides for late registrations.
  2. Easily request amendments (e.g., adding a father’s name) or corrections to existing life event records online.
  3. Submit applications for deed polls (legal name changes) through the online system.
  4. Apply for birth, death, marriage, adoption, or other certificates online, with options for express, standard or next-day services. It will also include online payment making life easier!
  5. Apply for an electronic or physical certificate for any of your life event records. 
  6. Receive continous updates via email or sms on the status of your application.

The CRVS seamlessly integrates the entire service process, from application submission to online payment to the secure delivery of electronic and paper certificates, providing a hassle-free and modern experience for all Belizeans. How to access CRVS

Creating an account is simple and easy!

Visit the CRVS login page and click on Create Account. From there, simply follow the steps provided.

In creating an account, you will be required to enter some identification information. This is important for accessing services and being able to manage your personal records through the CRVS.

Picking up your certificates is secure and convenient

Picking up certificates is now easier and more secure! If your request for a paper certificate is approved, here’s what happens:

  • You’ll receive a unique “Collection Authorization Form” with key details about your application.
  • This form makes it simple for you or someone you trust to collect your paper certificate.
  • If you’d like someone else to pick up your certificate, just share a digital or physical copy of this form with them.
  • Whoever picks up the certificate will need to show their Social Security card or Passport for identification and sign off that they have picked up the certificate.
